The Vancouver Canucks are in the process of rebuilding.
The next logical trade candidate is 34-year old forward Evander Kane.
Two teams appear interested, according to NHL insider Kevin Weekes: the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche.
Per multiple sources, I’m told the @DallasStars and @Avalanche are among the likely destinations for @Canucks F Kane via potential trade. #HockeyX pic.twitter.com/HicMv0SB35

The left winger has played 49 games this season and has nine goals and 14 assists. He also has 84 hits.
Kane has played 16 NHL seasons, suiting up for the Thrashers/Jets, Sharks, Sabres, Oilers and now this first season with the Canucks.
He has a career 640 points, split between 335 goals and 305 assists.
Kane also has 2,297 career hits in 979 games.
He would be a bottom-six player for his acquiring team, but a guy who has played in a lot of playoff games and adds some grit and still a bit of scoring ability.
The Stars or Avalanche wouldn't have to give up a ton, it doesn't seem, and so one may pull off this deal sometime soon.
