The Washington Commanders entered Week 11 with an uncertain situation at the running back position between Chris Rodriguez and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
While Croskey-Merritt has been the lead back since Austin Ekeler's season-ending injury, there was a hint that Rodriguez could take on a bigger role this week.
Here's what we know about JCM's slow start and Rodriguez's increased role.
Is Jacory Croskey-Merritt playing today?
Yes, Croskey-Merritt is active, but the Commanders gave Rodriguez the nod early on, which isn't surprising.
According to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, Rodriguez was expected to "have (a) key role" in Week 11 against the Miami Dolphins, so we might get a heavy dose of Rodriguez over Bill.
Hopefully that won't be the case, but we'll see as the game progresses.
