The Washington Commanders have two wide receivers on the injury report this week in Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel.
McLaurin has missed each of the past three games due to a quadriceps injury, while Samuel is dealing with a bruised heel that has yet to keep him out of action.
McLaurin looked to be on track to returning this week after logging a limited session on Wednesday, but he was downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday, which now puts his status in doubt.
Samuel, meanwhile, has yet to practice this week, which is a downgrade for him after he logged a limited practice on the second day of last week.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is now casting doubt on both of their statuses for Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. Pelissero is reporting that there is "real uncertainty" for both players this week.
"My understanding is, again, pending practice (Friday), there is real concern that Terry McLaurin might miss another game because of his quad injury," Pelissero reported.
"Deebo also, by the way, not practicing over the past couple of days. He is still dealing with the heel injury... But again, real uncertainty from what I understand about whether either of these guys will be on the field on Sunday."
The uncertainty surrounding both players comes after the team placed Noah Brown on injured reserve, which leaves Washington even shorter at the position.
If Samuel and McLaurin are both sidelined, the Commanders will lean heavily on Chris Moore, Jaylin Lane and Luke McCaffrey.
