The Washington Commanders have a lot of good things going for them.
Terry McLaurin's injury status is not one of them.
McLaurin remains a non-participant in practice on Thursday, according to beat reporter Tashan Reed.
The former Ohio State star initially hurt his quad in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
McLaurin has now missed Weeks 4 and 5 due to the injury, and in preparing for Week 6, he clearly isn't back up to full speed yet.

This is a slightly different week for the Commanders, because they don't play until Monday night.
The Monday Night Football clash will pit the Commanders against the Chicago Bears.
Washington enters the game at 3-2, while the Bears are 2-2 and coming off their bye week with a lot of time to prepare.
It's a rematch of the Commanders' dramatic Hail Mary victory last season.

Washington has treaded water fine without McLaurin, but the Commanders didn't give him a big contract this offseason just to sit on the sideline, either. They're clearly a better team with McLaurin on the field.
The Commanders will have practice reports released both Friday and Saturday, too, since their game isn't until Monday. Those will likely tell us more about McLaurin's status.
For now, it's still a downer for Commanders fans waiting to see their top WR back on the field.
