Commanders' Deebo Samuel injury update for Week 6 Monday Night Football has major importance image

The Washington Commanders have dealt with plenty of wide receiver injuries.

They don't need Deebo Samuel out, too.

Luckily for the Commanders, it sounds like Deebo is likely good to go for Monday Night Football in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears.

It's the last game of the week, so if Deebo was out, his fantasy football managers would likely have to pivot to Chicago's Luther Burden III or Washington's Luke McCaffrey.

But for now, it sounds decent for Samuel.

Is Deebo Samuel playing tonight?

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Sunday that Samuel should be "good to go" for MNF.

Samuel will likely have a pregame workout determine his final availability.

Inactives should come out about 6:45 p.m. ET, which is also before the Bills-Falcons game kicks off in case a fantasy replacement can come from that game.

Samuel is dealing with a bruised heel, which is a bit of an odd injury to know how it might impact his performance.

With Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown already ruled out, though, it'd be extra tough for the Commanders to be without Samuel.

And with that in mind, it seems likely Deebo would try to push through the pain and play.
