The status of Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez is up in the air for the Week 15 game against the New York Giants.
Rodriguez was on the injury report this week due to a groin injury. After he didn't take part in practice on Wednesday, Rodriguez turned in two limited sessions on Thursday and Friday before getting the questionable designation.
Here's the latest on whether or not Rodriguez will suit up on Sunday against the Giants.
Is Chris Rodriguez playing today?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rodriguez is a true game-time decision and will test out his groin before a verdict on his status will be rendered on Sunday.
"Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a groin injury, plans to test his injury in pre-game warmups to see if he can play vs. The Giants, per source," Schefter reported.
Chris Rodriguez start or sit advice
Rodriguez has clearly taken the lead-back duties over the last three weeks, with the Commanders back averaging 12.3 touches per contest.
The Giants have been very giving to running backs this season, with Big Blue ceding the second-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Rodriguez's production hasn't been great this season, but his potential workload and the matchup make him a flex option this week, assuming he's active.
Verdict: Start (if Rodriguez is active)
