Cam Ward has everything looking up for the Tennessee Titans.
That's what happens when a franchise takes a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in an NFL Draft. Everything looks a little better.
That includes the outcome for Chig Okonkwo. Full name Chigoziem, he's one of the most athletic, talented tight ends in the NFL.
For the past few seasons, Okonkwo has popped at various times, but this is his real chance to have a consistently excellent season.

"Okonkwo flashes all the traits and potential of a true weapon at tight end, but Tennessee’s massive inconsistency at quarterback (and on offense overall) may have stunted his production over his first three seasons," writes The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue. "Pairing him with rookie No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward not only should help Ward, but may lead to the bona fide breakout season some have expected from Okonkwo for a while."
Ward, out of Miami, has some varied targets to choose from.
There's WR1 Calvin Ridley. There are established wideouts like Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson. There's even running back Tony Pollard.

But one of their best weapons is certainly Okonkwo.
Last season, Okonkwo had 52 catches for 479 yards.
This season, he'll have the chance to top that with a much more talented quarterback.
Okonkwo will also turn 26 years old on Monday. That'll be a lot more fun if the Titans start the season with a victory on Sunday.
