The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a position no one wants to be in at this point in the season, playing bad football.

Yes, the division is still gettable, so that is a good thing.

But the form line has gone off a cliff in the past two months, with just one win from their last eight games; Tampa Bay's season is on life support.

Ahead of Week 18, and fresh off losing to the lowly Miami Dolphins 20-17, players could be forgiven for being a little negative, right? They are human, and this situation isn't good.

But for head coach Todd Bowles, that isn't the case at all.

"Hey, winning this league is hard,” Bowles said. “There's no negativity inside the locker room, inside the building. As far as we're concerned, there's mistakes, things we got to clean up. There's trust, there's belief. We got to play harder. We got to play a lot better. We got to coach a lot better.”

Do Buccaneers have one final push left?

Tampa Bay has the perfect opportunity in Week 18.

Yes, it is on a four-game losing streak, but there is a two-layered benefit here.

Win, and the losing streak is snapped, and the positive vibes that it creates would be hugely beneficial.

Plus, heading into the postseason off the back of winning the division in a playoff-like game will give the team confidence to go and make some noise in the postseason.

With their petrol tank reading empty, do the Buccaneers have one final regular-season push left in them?

We're about to find out.
