This season's injuries doomed Mike Evans.

He never stood a chance of continuing his historic 1,000-yard streak after hamstring and collarbone injuries hampered his campaign.

But man, what a streak it was.

Evans surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first 11 NFL seasons. That's never been done before, and may never be done again.

He's only got 140 yards through four games entering Week 15 this season. He won't be keeping it going.

Is Mike Evans playing tonight?

The good news is that it seems like Evans will return to action Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' legend was activated from IR after he was going through his activation window, which suggests he'll be on the gameday roster.

Evans is coming back from a fractured collarbone, and he missed separate time earlier this season with a hamstring issue.

The Bucs probably won't use Evans on every play given his injuries, but he'll likely be out there in big spots.

The Buccaneers need to win this game, so Baker Mayfield will surely look for Evans in the clutch, because that's a good plan.
