Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is coming off his best game of the 2025 campaign in Week 17.
Godwin posted seven catches for 108 yards and one touchdown in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. The receiving yards and receptions were season-highs for him.
However, Godwin is not off to an ideal start in the crucial Week 18 game against the Carolina Panthers. Here's why.

UPDATE: Still no targets for Godwin through four drives, and with how awful the weather is on Saturday, we wouldn't expect much from the veteran.
Yes, Godwin is active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten involved in the offense yet.
Despite putting together a scoring drive on the opening series, the Bucs only threw three passes, so there wasn't much of an opportunity for Godwin to get going.
Hopefully that changes soon.
