Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker has largely been third string behind Bucky Irving and Rachaad White this season, but lately, the third-year back has been making some noise.
With Irving out with injury and getting closer to a return, it has been White who initially got the lion's share of reps, but lately? Tucker has been the hot hand.
In the 44-32 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Tucker posted 106 yards and two touchdowns from 19 carries, while White had 51 yards from 10 carries, so Tucker was the leading guy, but in the last three games, Sean has also outrushed White.
So, when Irving comes back, will it be Tucker who gets more snaps over White?
Head coach Todd Bowles played a straight bat.
"That's hard to say," Bowles said. "I mean, we go with the hot hand. We got three good backs, and we play them all, we rotate them all, and whichever one gets hot usually gets the most touches."

Will Tucker usurp White in RB depth chart?
Based on current form, you could say so.
Plus, White is in the final year of his rookie contract, so his status with the team beyond 2025 is murky, especially when you consider Irving and Tucker are on their rookie contracts and have multiple years left.
So, it might make sense for the Buccaneers to transition to an Irving/Tucker duo in the second half of the team, especially if Tucker continues to be in the sort of form he's in now.
He won't surpass Bucky as RB1, but he might have already gone past White with his game against Buffalo, which was outstanding, and it might force Bowles and the coaching staff to make a decision.
But right now? Tampa will simply ride the hot hand, which means Tucker is likely to see more snaps moving forward.
