The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers will square off at Raymond James Stadium on afternoon in one of the biggest games of the Week 18 slate.
The Panthers and Buccaneers have an opportunity to secure an NFC South crown and playoff spot this weekend, although the path for Tampa Bay is a bit tougher.
That's because the Bucs need a win over the Panthers and a loss from the Atlanta Falcons versus the New Orleans Saints to avoid a three-way tie that would favor Carolina via tie-breaker.
Meanwhile, the Panthers just need to beat Tampa Bay and they are the NFC South champions.
Ahead of kickoff at 4:30 p.m. ET, there is one concerning detail about the weather forecast to note.
Buccaneers vs. Panthers weather forecast.
According to AccuWeather.com, high wind gusts are expected during the game.
Those wind gusts are expected to reach highs of anywhere from 20-27 MPH, which could impact the passing and kicking games of both teams.
There is also a chance for rain, but that isn't expected to be a threat until the final hour of the contest, with a 49% chance for precipitation in the 7 p.m. Hour.
As far as the temperature is concerned, that's expected to be north of 70 degrees for much of the game before dipping a bit below 70 for the last hour of the game.
