The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly set to welcome back two key starters on offense and are expected to have the services of their injured quarterback, also.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, quarterback Baker Mayfield (biceps), wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) and left tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee), all of whom are questionable for Sunday, are expected to play in Week 4.

For Godwin and Wirfs, this will be their 2025 debuts. Godwin suffered a dislocated ankle in 2024 and has spent all offseason and the first three weeks of this season working his way back from. Wirfs had arthroscopic knee surgery in July.

Mayfield popped up on the injury report last week with a foot/toe issue, but this week he was dealing with a biceps injury and was limited all week.

"Baker should be OK for Sunday, but he was limited today," head coach Todd Bowles said on Friday.

It remains to be seen if he'll play a full complement of snaps in his first game back, but the return of Godwin is a much-needed boost for a Buccaneers wide receivers room that has been ravaged by injuries early on.

Jalen McMillan has been on injured reserve since final cuts and it remains unclear if he'll be back when first eligible in Week 5, and Mike Evans suffered a hamstring injury last week that is expected to lead to a multi-week absence.

Rookie Emeka Egbuka, who was dealing with an injury last week before suiting up, has stepped up with all the injuries around him and leads the team in receiving yards and touchdowns.

He has definitely shown enough to have a significant role, even when the Bucs have both Godwin and Evans in the lineup.
