The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now on a two-game losing streak after succumbing to the Buffalo Bills 44-32 at Highmark Stadium to drop to 6-4 on the year.

Tampa Bay has now lost three of its last four games, and the Carolina Panthers are right there for the division as well, at 6-5, so all of a sudden, after being 5-1, the Buccaneers have now hit a bumpy stretch in their season.

Despite the loss, the Buccaneers can take some positives out of the game, with Sean Tucker rushing for 106 yards and two touchdowns, but as Mayfield explains, the offense just didn't do enough.

"I think the fight was there, the toughness," Mayfield said. "Just came down to not making enough plays. That's one of those things that come out of this game really disappointed because guys fought hard. Thought there were great plays within the game, throughout the game, but you really got to look at the tape to look at what really got us beat. Got to figure that out, be extremely critical, and that's because we want to be a great team and we want to be a great offense.

"Definitely a lot more points on the board for us today."

Buccaneers suddenly vulnerable in NFC South

The Buccaneers are still first in the division, but for how long? We aren't sure.

Still to play the second-placed Panthers twice, the NFC South was thought to be Tampa Bay's to lose a couple of weeks ago, and we know how fickle the NFL can be.

Oh, and the Buccaneers have a small matter of the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Week 12, so things don't get any easier for Todd Bowles' team.

Last season, they snapped out of a four-game losing streak, and it looks like the Buccaneers will again have to steady the ship, because right now things aren't going as smoothly as they'd hoped.

And the Panthers will be awaiting any slip-ups.
