The Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams are facing off in the matchup of the season on Thursday Night Football in Week 16. With both teams at 11-3, the winner of this Week 16 matchup will have a huge advantage in the NFC West.

Fortunately for the Seahawks, they get to play this pivotal matchup at home in Seattle. As the 12's cheer on the Seahawks to a hopefully massive Week 16 performance, the Seahawks will don a new uniform.

As ESPN highlighted before this week's games, the Seahawks different uniforms in Week 16 against the Rams are their "Rivalries" uniforms. The gray and green jerseys are a unique look for Seattle, as they prepare for a unique opportunity to create a gap in the NFC West division race.

Seahawks' different uniforms for Week 16 feature 'Rivalries' threads

"Seattle will wear its brand new 'Rivalries' threads on 'Thursday Night Football' against the Los Angeles Rams." ESPN shared. "The look includes wolf-grey jerseys and pants with iridescent green jersey numbers. The helmet maintains a similar green color with a metallic chrome finish."

While the new-look uniform is a bit different than the Seahawks normal uniforms, and very different from their highlighter-green uniforms of years past, this is a darker green mixed with a grey design.

There is one thing that's still the same for Seattle, as their "Seahawks" logo is not changing in design on the new "Rivalries" jerseys.

Featured on the pants' legs of these new jerseys is a cool design that is a "soundwave-inspired pattern," and on the shoulders is a ripple effect from said soundwaves.

It's a very unique look for the Seahawks, and it's being featured at a crucial time of the year against the Rams in a matchup between the NFC's top two teams at 11-3 for a chance to take the lead in the West, and command of the number one seed and a bye in the conference.

The Nike-designed jerseys are part of the "Rivalries" collection, which features the Arizona Cardinals, Rams, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, and the Seahawks.

The last Seahawks-Rams matchup in mid-November featured the Rams' "Rivalries" uniforms, and now one month later, the Seahawks will wear their own "Rivalries" uniforms as they attempt to steal the NFC West lead from the Rams.
