The Seattle Seahawks faced the lifeless Atlanta Falcons in Week 14 and promptly took care of business.
Seattle dominated on both sides of the ball throughout the contest and it was quite clear that there was an enormous talent gap between the Seahawks and Falcons, as we already knew would be the case.
With the 37-9 victory, the Seahawks improved to 10-3 and enter Week 14 sitting in second place in the NFC West and in the No. 5 spot in the conference playoff picture.
Now, a look at where the Seahawks sit in the NFL power rankings of experts going into Week 15 of the 2025 campaign.
Seahawks Week 14 NFL power rankings
Vinnie Iyer, AllSportsPeople: 5 (+1)
Iyer: "The Seahawks, after shutting out the Seahawks last week, continued their road dominance by ripping into the Falcons with their swarm of big plays on offense, defense and special teams. They can't be forgotten about making a real Super Bowl run out of the NFC."
Jeremy Cluff, Arizona Republic: 4 (+1)
Cluff: "The 10-3 Seahawks currently have a great chance at making the playoffs, but they do have some tests remaining. The final four games for Seattle are against the Colts, Rams, Panthers and 49ers. Would a 2-2 record get Seattle in? This team wants to win the NFC West, however."
Taylor Wirth, NBC Sports: 4 (no change)
Wirth: "Seattle has one of the best defenses in the league and it doesn't get the credit it deserves. On a separate note, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (1,428) still has a shot to break Calvin Johnson's single-season record of 1,964 receiving yards, but will need a monster game down the stretch."
Matt Johnson, Sportsnaut: 1 (no change)
Johnson: "The Seattle Seahawks were tied 6-6 with the Falcons at halftime. Then, trade acquisition Rashid Shaheed took the kickoff back 100 yards for a house call, and that seemed to light a spark for the Seahawks. Seattle outscored Atlanta 31-3 the rest of the way, demonstrating why this could be the best team in the NFL as long as Sam Darnold avoids multi-interception games. With the unfortunate state the Colts are in, Seattle should have minimal trouble making it four consecutive wins and an 11-3 mark after Week 15."
