The Seattle Seahawks have become one of the best teams in the NFL. Thanks to Mike Macdonald's defense and the savvy offseason moves from John Schneider, the Seahawks are in great shape this season at 10-3 entering Week 15.
But one of the side effects of having such a great team is that the coaching staff is at risk of being poached. While there aren't many head coaching openings so far, the New York Giants are already showing interest in one Seahawks coach.
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, Seahawks transformational offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is drawing head coaching interest from the Giants. The Seahawks are at risk of losing Kubiak this offseason.
Seahawks at risk of losing Klint Kubiak to Giants HC job
Russini shared that the Giants, not long after the firing of Brian Daboll, have compiled a list of head coaching candidates.
"I'm told the names on it include Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak... And Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman."
This report from Russini will have many fans focusing on the inclusion of Marcus Freeman, but for the Seahawks fans, Kubiak's inclusion is a major concern.

Sam Darnold and the Seahawks offense have undergone a major change from last season, with Kubiak in charge. He's one of the best playcallers in the NFL and has helped Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Darnold put together one of the most efficient seasons in NFL history.
Losing Kubiak to a head coaching job is a major concern this offseason, and with the Giants showing interest, those concerns are becoming a reality.
Nothing is finalized, nor will it be anytime soon, but Kubiak is now at risk of leaving for the Giants with this report from Russini. He's one of the top head coaching candidates, and could be leaving the Seahawks after just one season as the offensive coordinator.
