The Seattle Seahawks put together one of the best comebacks in franchise history. Down 16 in the fourth quarter, a Rashid Shaheed punt return touchdown made it a one-score game before Sam Darnold found A.J. Barner for a touchdown and the Seahawks converted the ensuing two-point conversion. The Seahawks won on a touchdown pass from Darnold to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime and another successful two-point conversion.

And while the Seahawks are riding high after the win, they will have to go without one of their defenders in Week 17 due to a suspension.

"Seahawks linebacker Derick Hall has been suspended for one game for an act of unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct during Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams," Adam Schefter reports. "During the first quarter, Hall unnecessarily stepped on the leg of Rams guard Kevin Dotson at the end of a play while he was on the ground. Hall will be eligible to return to the Seahawks’ active roster on Monday, Dec. 29, following the team’s Dec. 28 game against the Carolina Panthers."

Hall has just one sack in 2025, but had eight in 2024. He was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft by Seattle out of Auburn. The Seahawks control their destiny and their own path to being the No. 1 seed after defeating the Rams, and will travel to Carolina to face the Panthers in Week 17.
