The Seattle Seahawks are coming off one of their more interesting wins of the season in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings

Their offense just could not get going. Darnold had his second rough week over the last three, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba had, without a doubt, his worst game of the season. Smith-Njigba only had two catches for 23 yards. A far cry from his standard production this season.

Despite those factors and the fact that the offense scored only one touchdown, the Seahawks dismantled a beaten-up Vikings team 26-0. The defense was stellar on Sunday.

The entire unit as a whole was great, only allowing 162 total yards of offense, but one Seattle LB in particular was so good that it earned him weekly NFL honors.

Ernest Jones IV earns NFC Week 13 Defensive Player of the Week

What a showing it was for the fifth-year LB out of South Carolina. Jones IV was all over the place.

Jones IV tallied up 12 total tackles (team-high), seven solo tackles (team-high), and recorded two interceptions. One of those interceptions he took all the way to the house.

With two interceptions against Max Brosmer and the Vikings, Jones IV now finds himself tied for 2nd place in the NFL in total interceptions. His five total interceptions are by far the most of Jones IV's career.

Between Jones IV and the dominant DL duo of Leonard Williams and Bryon Murphy II, Seattle will have one of the stoutest defenses you’ll see in the playoffs.
