The Seattle Seahawks are 10-3, tied for the best record in the NFC with the Los Angeles Rams, but sit as the fifth seed in the conference.

However, fortunately for the Seahawks, not only do they control their destiny going forward, but the Seahawks also enter Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts with a 32% chance of sitting atop the NFC by season's end.

Ali Bhanpuri of NFL.com highlighted the Seahawks' playoff odds. From their chance to make the playoffs in general, to their percent chance of taking the NFC West, and the NFC's No.1 seed away from the Rams.

Seahawks get second-best NFC odds entering Week 15 vs. Colts

Facing Philip Rivers and the Colts, the Seahawks have a chance to reach 99% playoff odds, and likely cement, or raise, their 32% chance of clinching the NFC's No.1 seed from the Rams.

Bhanpuri has the Seahawks' odds of clinching the one-seed in the NFC as the second best to the Rams, who have a 45 % chance of clinching the top spot and a bye, in the NFC.

But the path for the Seahawks is very simple to take that spot from the Rams. "So Seattle's hopes rest in a simple formula:" Bhanpuri writes, "four wins over four weeks + home-field advantage throughout."

If the Seahawks can beat the Colts in Week 15, they would reach 11-3 and enter their Week 16 matchup against the Rams with a chance to further cement their status atop the NFC.

The winner of that Week 16 matchup will be heavy favorites to not only win the NFC West but also earn a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

A Rams loss in Week 15 would be a plus for Seattle, but their 32% odds to clinch the NFC's top seed rely more on the outcome of Week 16.

Even a Rams win and Seahawks loss this week wouldn't be the end for Seattle's chances at the No.1 seed. As long as they win in Week 16 against the Rams, then they would have a chance to clinch the division.

The Seahawks have a 32% chance of winning the NFC's No.1 seed this season, second only to the Rams, and well ahead of any other team in the conference.

These final four weeks are going to be massive, and Seattle can kick things off with a dominant win over the reeling Colts, who just lost Daniel Jones for the season.
