The momentum of the Seattle Seahawks' Week 5 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was looking convincing before QB Sam Darnold threw a late interception that set up Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers for a game-sealing field goal.
Tampa Bay ultimately went down and won the game in the closing seconds, and the Seahawks dropped their second game of the season with a final score of 38-35.
It was a devastating late-game hiccup for Darnold and the Seahawks, but they will try their best not to dwell on the past. WR Cooper Kupp has set the tone for Seattle as they prepare for a matchup against the red-hot Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6.
Cooper Kupp shares convincing message before Week 6 vs. Jaguars
Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp, and the rest of the Seattle Seahawks are going to do everything necessary to move on from dropping the shootout against the Buccaneers.
Kupp, who signed a three-year, $45 million deal with his home state Seahawks this offseason, is still adjusting to his new team through five games. With 21 receptions and 221 receiving yards, the veteran receiver is on pace for career lows this season.
He's serving the WR2 role behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. As an NFL veteran, he'll look to pick up his teammates and set the tone for the Seahawks. Kupp did just that in his most recent social media post.
"Make-It-Right week of work," Kupp shared on Monday.

For their next matchup against the 4-1 Jaguars, Kupp will look to tally his first touchdown for his new team, while Seattle attempts to snap Jacksonville's three-game winning streak at home.
