Week 11 is fast approaching, and with Sunday right around the corner, many are beginning to check the matchups across the league.
The Bills vs the Buccaneers should be a good game in the early games slot, as should the Sunday night game between the Eagles and the Lions.
Of all the games to be played this weekend, however, one stands out as what looks to be clearly the game of the week. Not only are these two teams coming in at 7-2, but they are also divisional rivals.
My question is, why is this game not getting the national recognition it deserves?
Rams vs Seahawks is being treated like an ordinary game
Many at the beginning of the season likely wouldn't have predicted these two teams would have the campaigns they've had.
The Seahawks, in kinder predictions, were slated at around seven to eight wins this season. The Rams' total was similarly predicted to be around eight to nine wins. We can clearly see that over-bettors will have the last laugh this season.
Regardless, both teams have proven they are among the top-tier contenders this season. This battle between two of the NFC's conference championship favorites is not getting nearly the love it deserves.
The #Seahawks and #Rams are both 7–2 and meet this week in what looks like the game of the week on paper — but it won’t get that kind of treatment.

The Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos matchup will be great, don't get me wrong. It is also a division game between two potential playoff teams. At a certain point, however, the Kansas City love needs to cool down in the media.
Yes, they are still a good team led by one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the league, but they are 5-4 and currently on the outside looking in on the playoff picture. Not deserving, frankly, of the national spotlight this season.
Both Los Angeles and Seattle have two of the best records in the league. Seattle boasts one of the clear favorites for OPOY in Jaxson Smith-Njigba and a top offensive and defensive unit in the league. Los Angeles brings an MVP candidate in Matthew Stafford and weapons all throughout the receiving room and defensive line.
It's time to start giving both of these squads the respect and national attention they deserve.
