In his third season in the NFL, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has cemented himself as one of the best wideouts in the NFL.
Through 11 games, Smith-Njigba is on pace for a historic season after tallying 1,313 yards. JSN has an opportunity to cross 2,000 yards, which would make him the first wide receiver to do so in NFL history.
However, JSN is off to a slow start in the Week 13 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Here's a closer look at what's happening.
Is Jaxon Smith-Njigba playing today?
UPDATE: FINALLY! JSN has his first catch at around the five-minute mark in the second quarter after reeling in a six-yard reception.
UPDATE: JSN is now up to two targets on the game as we navigate the third quarter but he hasn't been able to reel either of them in. One of the passes was just a poor thrown from Darnold, who continues to have a rough day.
Yes, JSN is active and healthy, but he has not been targeted through the first quarter of the contest.
It has been tough sledding for Seattle's offense early in the game, as quarterback Sam Darnold has been under constant pressure and that is severely hindering Seattle's passing attack.
It's just a matter of time before JSN gets going, though.
