The Seattle Seahawks have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season. They're capable of shutting down elite offenses, and it's a combination of great play from the defensive line and sticky coverage in the secondary.
But, as is the case this late in the season, the Seahawks are dealing with a few injuries, specifically in their secondary. Safeties Julian Love and Ty Okuda are both banged up, with Love on injured reserve and Okuda potentially joining him shortly.
Amid these injuries to the safety room, Seattle needs to explore potential additions. And according to former fan-favorite safety Quandre Diggs on Twitter/X, he's "coming home" to Seattle.
Quandre Diggs teases return to Seattle with social media post
"No sources needed, just my guy! @BlitzTheSeahawk" Diggs posted on social media.

This post was accompanied by the song Coming Home, Pt. II, by Skyler Grey. It's a clear indication from Diggs that he's on his way to Seattle to join an elite defense as the defensive backfield deals with some injuries.
Diggs is 32 years old and was previously with the Tennessee Titans earlier this season. He started in just four games for the Titans in his nine games played before his release at the beginning of November.

The former Detroit Lions and Seahawks safety came to Seattle in 2019 and became a fan-favorite Pro Bowler for the Seahawks defense over the next five seasons.
From 2019 until 2023, Diggs started 72 games, hauling in 18 interceptions, one pick-six, and 32 passes defensed to go with 345 tackles and two forced fumbles.
While he wasn't at his best with the Titans this season, allowing a 148.4 passer rating when targeted, Diggs is a familiar face for Seattle to bolster their injury-riddled safety room.
Diggs is "coming home," as he revealed on his social media after the Seahawks' Week 12 win over the Titans. If he suits up in Week 13, he will face the Minnesota Vikings, who could be without JJ McCarthy this week.
