While the San Francisco 49ers were missing multiple key pass-catchers, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne stepped up big time to help his team out.
However, Bournce has been quiet as the 49ers have steadily gotten more healthy. In fact, over the last three games going into Week 10, Bourne has just seven catches for 92 scoreless yards.
And we're seeing more of the same in the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams, as Bourne is off to a lackluster start. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Kendrick Bourne playing today?
UPDATE: Bourne is finally on the stat sheet with under one minute left in the third quarter after reeling in a 19-yard catch.
Yes, Bourne is active and in the lineup, but he did not receive a single target in the first half.
Instead, Mac Jones has connected with Jauan Jennings, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and even Demarcus Robinson of all people.
San Francisco's offense hasn't been playing that great, also, so that has certainly contributed to Bourne's slow start.
Hopefully things improve in the second half.
