Maybe San Francisco 49ers legend Joe Montana doesn't value winning?
That seems unlikely for the four-time Super Bowl champion, but he didn't seem to value championships in an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show." When asked to pick three quarterbacks with whom he'd start an NFL franchise, Montana did not pick a single quarterback who has won a Super Bowl.

“Give me Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Justin Herbert..
I do also really like Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes” ~ @JoeMontana #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/L3we2emrhi
In fairness to Montana, he did mention both Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes upon further questioning from McAfee and former NFL head coach Bruce Arians. Hurts is the defending Super Bowl champion quarterback with the Philadelphia Eagles, and Mahomes has won three of his own with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Montana explained the selection of Allen, Burrow and Herbert by saying he was placing value on youth. Mahomes is actually the same age (29) as Josh Allen. Burrow (28) is a year older than Hurts (27), who is the same age as Herbert. Lamar Jackson (28) is in the conversation as one of the league's top QBs after winning two MVP awards.
"I think for us it states how well we are in the National Football League right now with quarterbacks," Arians said. "We've got some really great young quarterbacks in the league right now and I think the league's in great shape."
