It has been a tough season for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings.
Not only did Jennings play through a slew of injuries this season, he fell over 300 yards short of matching his career high, which he posted in the same number of contests in 2024.
Now, Jennings is off to a quiet start in the wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Jauan Jennings playing today?
UPDATE: Two drives for the Niners and Jennings still doesn't have a target. Meanwhile, Purdy has been heavily targeting Robinson.
It's possible the Eagles are focusing extra attention Jennings' way and forcing the 49ers to beat them through the air with someone else. That could make it tough sledding for the Niners' No. 1 receiver.
END OF UPDATE
Yes, Jennings is active and healthy, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
The Niners' first drive saw three completed passes from quarterback Brock Purdy, but two went to Demarcus Robinson and the other went to running back Christian McCaffrey.
San Fran's first drive was also quick, as one of Robinson's catches picked up 61 yards, which shortened the length of the drive and didn't give anyone much of an opportunity to get going.
We'll see if Jennings can get on the stat sheet on drive No. 2.
