The San Francisco 49ers entered the weekend with a question mark in tight end George Kittle.
Kittle suffered a hamstring injury in Week 16 that forced him from that contest early and led him sitting out in Week 17.
This week, Kittle showed progress by turning in three limited practices, but he was still given the questionable tag.
On Saturday, the Niners made some roster moves that are a good sign for Kittle's chances of suiting up against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 18.
George Kittle injury update
The 49ers elevated two players from the practice squad for Saturday night's game, but tight end Brayden Willis was not among them.
Last week when Kittle sat out, the Niners elevated Willis from the practice squad to give themselves another body at the position. Seeing as how Willis wasn't elevated this week, that's a clear indication Kittle will play.
No surprise there, though, as Kittle said he "absolutely" planned on playing during the week.
We'll get final confirmation on Kittle's status an hour and a half before kickoff on Saturday night.
