The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles will do battle in a wild-card showdown at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

The Eagles had no shortage of issues on offense this season but managed to notch an 11-6 record, which was good enough for first place in the NFC East and the No. 3 seed in the conference.

The 49ers actually posted one more win than the Eagles, but thanks to being in one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, 12 wins was only good enough for third place in the NFC West.

As a result, the Niners had to get into the playoffs via the wild-card, which was still an impressive accomplishment given the low expectations going into the season and all the injury issues San Francisco had to deal with.

Ahead of kickoff on Sunday, here's what experts are predicting will happen in the NFC wild-card contest between San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Spoiler alert: the 49ers aren't getting much respect.

Eagles vs. 49ers predictions from experts

Vinnie Iyer, AllSportsPeople: Eagles 23, 49ers 20

Iyer: "The 49ers' offense will do its best to make up for an injury-riddled defense. Brock Purdy will lean a lot on Christian McCaffrey as it will be difficult to operate the downfield passing game on the Eagles inside. Jalen Hurts should open up the offense to exploit a wilted pass defense, ensuring the Eagles stay alive in their Super Bowl repeat attempt."

Bill Bender, AllSportsPeople: Eagles 26, 49ers 23

Bender: " Will the 49ers be healthy enough here? Trent Williams (hamstring) and Ricky Pearsall (ankle, knee) missed Week 18, and their status will need to be monitored leading up to the showdown with the Eagles. Brock Purdy had a 73.4% completion percentage in San Francisco's last four games. Will the 49ers' run defense hold up? San Francisco allowed 145 rushing yards per game the last two weeks to the Bears and Seahawk s, and Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley had a bye week to rest. How important is that rushing attack? Philadelphia was 4-0 S/U at home when it had 100 rushing yards or more, and 1-3 S/U when they did not hit that number. Opposing teams were 2-1 when they rushed for 130 yards or more at Philadelphia. Can Christian McCaffrey have a monster game here?"
