Brock Purdy got a bloody right thumb in the middle of the San Francisco 49ers' final drive.
And then on fourth down, he got sandwiched.
A pass rusher hit Purdy low from behind. Another hit Purdy high from in front.
He got split in half and stayed down after the pass fell incomplete.
Eventually, Purdy got up and jogged off.
He went straight to the blue medical tent.
It won't be clear until this upcoming week, as the 49ers approach playoff preparations, how Purdy is doing.
UPDATE: After the game, Kyle Shanahan told reporters Purdy could've gone back in if there was more game to play.

The 49ers had a chance at a bye if they won on Saturday night.
Instead, a 13-3 loss to Seattle means the 49ers will be a wild card team.
They'll need Purdy to be OK to get the postseason going in a week's time.
Backup Mac Jones is competent, of course. But until this week, Purdy had been on fire.
The 49ers will want him to be healthy enough to recapture that going forward.
