The San Francisco 49ers have been getting busy with the trade deadline almost here and it looks like general manager John Lynch isn't done yet.

On Tuesday, the 49ers pulled off a trade with the New England Patriots that landed a much-needed edge rusher in Keion White, who will help fill the void left by Nick Bosa's season-ending injury.

But we know the Niners need to do more. They could use yet another impact edge rusher, especially in the wake of Bryce Huff's hamstring injury, and linebacker and guard are needs, also.

The good news is, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports that the 49ers probably aren't done, and Jeremy Fowler notes that the Niners have "remained aggressive."

"I know they've been calling around about pass-rush help (they got some Tuesday with White), and they've been known to be active and creative at the deadline in past years," Graziano said. "I'm feeling confident they'll do something beyond what they've already done."

While the Niners are sitting at 5-3 and are positioned to make a run at the playoffs, we wouldn't expect any franchise-altering moves that can't help San Francisco down the road.

It's clear the Niners are in a transition year as they look to get their financial and draft houses in order for the future. Acquiring one-year rentals that cost a lot of draft capital probably isn't in the cards.

Granted, the Niners have reportedly shown interest in Trey Hendrickson, but a trade for the Cincinnati Bengals star, who isn't expected to be available, would likely come in tandem with an extension.

All that said, we would still expect general manager John Lynch to make smaller moves that can help San Francisco navigate the rest of this campaign.
