The San Francisco 49ers are 9-4, and while that's an impressive record with Fred Warner and Nick Bosa missing most of the season, the 49ers are still behind two teams in the stacked NFC West.
A game behind the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams, the 49ers are facing an uphill battle for the NFC West title. But when it comes to making the playoffs, they're in a good spot.
Ali Bhanpuri of NFL.com revealed four key playoff and division percentages for 49ers fans to keep in mind heading into Week 15 against the Tennessee Titans. Those odds feature both high and low chances for playoff scenarios for the 49ers this week.
49ers playoff odds revealed for NFC West, No.1 seed, playoffs
Bhanpuri notes that the 49ers have a 90% chance of making the playoffs entering Week 15. A win over the Titans would raise those odds to 93%, while a loss would entail a sharp drop to 76% odds of making the playoffs.
The 93% chance of making the playoffs with a win isn't surprising, but the sharp decline with a loss is. They would be 9-5 if they lose to the Titans, and teams like the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Carolina Panthers could sneak in over them.
But, just as they could easily be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs, the 49ers also hold the fourth-best odds for the number one seed in the NFC.
Bhnapuri has the 49ers' odds of earning a first-round bye at 7%, just behind the Green Bay Packers and a bit behind the Rams and Seahawks in the conference.

The last, most important playoff percentage that Bhanpuri lists for the 49ers is their chance of winning the NFC West. While earning the number one seed has a 7% chance of happening, the 49ers winning the division is at a 10% chance.
The Seahawks are at 35% and the Rams are at 55%. The 49ers have a relatively easy schedule against the Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, and Seahawks.
Winning out and seeing the Rams and Seahawks lose at least one more game each could have the 49ers tied atop the division for the NFC West title, and tiebreakers could wind up going their way.
Despite an injury-riddled season, the 49ers are in solid shape for a playoff spot and in decent shape to potentially earn an NFC West title.
