Through the first six weeks of the NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers have dealt with a plethora of injuries all across their roster. From the season-ending injuries to Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, to the drawn-out issues for Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall.
Simply put: the 49ers have been banged up this year. However, ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, the 49ers got some good injury news.
Kyle Shanahan, as Underdog NFL shares, revealed that tight end George Kittle, who's been out since Week 1 of the season with a hamstring injury, is expected to be activated for Week 7 and have no limitations in his first game back.
Kyle Shanahan reveals incredible George Kittle 49ers news ahead of Week 7 vs Falcons
Shanahan shared that Kittle will play in Week 7 and that the tight end won't have a snap count either. While some players might be eased back into a full workload, the 49ers are confident enough in Kittle to let him suit up for as many snaps as possible.

He won't have a snap count.
Kittle is still on injured reserve, but as long as the 49ers activate him by Saturday, October 18th, by 4:00 p.m. ET, then Kittle will be good to go for Sunday Night Football.
Before landing on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, Kittle had played in one game, hauling in four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown. Even on just 21 snaps, Kittle still managed to play a solid role for the 49ers in their Week 1 win over Seattle.
The 32-year-old tight end is coming back from a tough injury to suit up for the 49ers, as San Francisco is reeling with injuries to the rest of their receiver rooms. Jennings is dealing with five broken ribs along with low and high ankle sprains. Pearsall is still out as he deals with his knee injury, and Marquez Valdez-Scantling was placed on injured reserve.

Add on Brandon Aiyuk, still sitting on injured reserve as he recovers from a torn ACL and MCL from 2024, and the 49ers offense is severely lacking in weapons. And it's not even for Brock Purdy, as he is dealing with his own injury as well.
Mac Jones is getting another start for San Francisco, making this the first time that Kittle will be in the lineup with Jones under center. The 49ers' backup has looked good in his action this season, and his connection with Kittle will be one to watch in Week 7.
The 49ers are slowly beginning to see their players get healthy. With Kittle back and the other players on offense who are injured slowly getting healthy, the 49ers offense is trending in the right direction.
