The San Francisco 49ers have to give a lot of love to Mac Jones, who truly stepped up for them in a massive way. The 49ers might not be in the best spot in terms of the NFC West Standings at 6-4, and the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams at 7-2, but they're in a lot better situation than many expected them to be with Jones as their quarterback.

It sounds like Brock Purdy is going to get the start on Sunday, barring anything drastic happening.

The 49ers will take on the Arizona Cardinals, a game they're looking to come away with.

When speaking to reporters about how he feels, Purdy made it seem like he feels pretty good and is ready to go.

How does Purdy feel?

“I feel really good, feel healthy and excited to be back and ready to go and lead the guys,” Purdy said. “I’m really excited about this week. It’s been a good week so far. Obviously we’ve got to finish out strong this week, but [I] feel really good.”

“I absolutely love Mac and what he’s done,” Purdy said, per ESPN. “He came in and played extremely well and kept our team alive and moving and going, and so, I appreciate him for that and just everything he’s brought to our team.”

It'll be interesting to see how Purdy looks in this game.

Many fans have suggested that Jones should continue to start moving forward, but there have always been a lot of Purdy haters out there.
