The Pittsburgh Steelers made an unexpected addition to the injury report on Monday and it came in the form of starting running back Jaylen Warren.
Warren came down with an illness on Monday and was downgraded to questionable.
However, Warren is officially active for the Week 15 contest against the Miami Dolphins, although there is a concern he might not take on a full workload.
Here's why.
Will Jaylen Warren have a full workload?
It's certainly possible Warren will be on a pitch count, although nothing has been confirmed before kickoff, unfortunately.
Warren just got sick on Monday, so he likely isn't at 100%. If that's the case, the Steelers could opt to utilize Kenneth Gainwell more.
Gainwell has been playing at a high level this season, so it's not like there's a huge drop-off between him and Warren, which only increases the chances the Steelers utilize their backup more if Warren isn't himself on Monday night.
This is a tough situation for fantasy football managers to navigate, but with no word on how much work Warren will handle, you just have to start him and hope for the best.
