The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their list of inactives for the Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens and wide receiver Roman Wilson is on it.

Wilson is in the midst of another disappointing season after he didn't do anything in 2024. Despite the Steelers desperately needing someone to step up thanks to their shaky wide receivers room, Wilson has just 166 yards through 12 games.

The fact that Wilson is inactive on Sunday is yet another bad sign for his career in the NFL.

Here's why the Steelers made that decision.

The Steelers have decided to dress wide receivers Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, which means both will be making their debuts in Week 14.

It's clear the Steelers prefer the experience Thielen and MVS bring over Wilson, who is also taking a back seat to veterans Scotty Miller and Ben Skowronek.

That's something head coach Mike Tomlin touched on when asked about the two veterans making their debuts this week.

"You know, just to surround ourselves with some more veteran players. The road's getting narrow for us and everyone and there's no substitute for experience and hopefully it's the difference today," Tomlin said to CBS.

If Thielen and MVS manage to contribute on Sunday, we may not seen Wilson dress for a game for the foreseeable future.

Pittsburgh and Baltimore will kick off from M&T Bank Stadium at 1 p.m. ET.
