Aaron Rodgers can't quite get comfortable.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback is wearing a new helmet for Week 7's Thursday Night Football clash with the Cincinnati Bengals, and it's just one of a few changes he's already made to his headgear in 2025.

Rodgers' Schutt helmet that he wore for the first two decades of his NFL career was no longer approved by the league heading into this season. That meant he needed to change.

At mandatory minicamp in June, Rodgers wore a different Schutt helmet, an approved one. By training camp, he was in a different Schutt helmet, according to Pro Football Talk.

“I can’t stand the helmet,” Rodgers said in June. “I’ve worn a Schutt for 20 years and somehow it finally didn’t pass the safety standard.”

In August, Rodgers was still not happy.

“I don’t like it, no,” Rodgers said. “I’m trying to change. We’re in the process still. It looks like a damn spaceship out there.”

This is the second week Rodgers will be trying a helmet from a different brand: Vicis.

He played the first four weeks of the season in a Schutt, according to Pro Football Talk, and then the Steelers had a Week 5 bye.

He came out of the bye in a new Vicis helmet.

Pro Football Talk reported that Rodgers will wear it again in Week 7. He has yet to be asked about it, but it's safe to expect him to have a strong opinion on it once he is asked.
