Is Aaron Rodgers coming or not?

That's a question the Pittsburgh Steelers still don't have an answer to with less than a week remaining until the NFL Draft.

Currently, they have two QBs in the building: Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson. Not exactly a pairing that inspires Super Bowl dreams.

For that reason, AllSportsPeople' senior NFL writer Vinnie Iyer considers Pittsburgh a "lock" to draft a QB.

Here's how he explains it:

"The Steelers have been attached most to Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart in Round 1 and Texas' Quinn Ewers a little later on Day 2. The Aaron Rodgers situation isn't progressing, and the team can't just sit on current fill-in Mason Rudolph and newcomer Skylar Thompson. Should Shedeur Sanders slip in the first round to No. 21, they should be ready to pounce."

The Sanders-Steelers connection has grown in popularity in recent weeks.

For a while, it was assumed the Colorado QB wouldn't fall outside of the top-10. Now, a slide seems like a real possibility.

Dart is another popular mock draft connection for the Steelers. He's got impressive deep-ball accuracy but has only really grown into a first-round target in recent weeks, at least based on mock drafts.

Rodgers might still come to town, but that's a temporary solution anyway. The 41-year old would only be Pittsburgh's QB of the present, not the future.

To find that long-term quarterback answer, the Steelers have the chance to take a big swing in this year's NFL Draft.
