The Pittsburgh Steelers' season may not be going entirely as planned, with the team following the same trajectory as in the past couple of seasons.

Currently at 7-6, holding a slim lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North, but have dealt with many issues, such as injuries and uncertainty at quarterback, underperformance from the defense, and lack of offensive production.

In fact, during the last home game played against the Buffalo Bills, head coach Mike Tomlin received chants from the fanbase calling for his job, after rumors began to speculate that it may be time for the Steelers and the 18-year head coach to part ways.

Although they may still be the case, Tomlin and crew bounced back in a big way after beating the Ravens on the road, keeping the potential streak of never having a losing streak as the team's head coach.

On Monday, the Steelers will face off against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 15. Not only is the state of the AFC North on the line, but another milestone could be at stake as well.

Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers have never lost a 'Monday Night Football' game as the home team, and they are winners of 22 straight games on the primetime stage. They will seek to extend that streak, but will have to do so without T.J. Watt, who had surgery on Friday after a major health scare with a partially repaired lung.

Three Rivers Stadium was the home of the Steelers, the last time they lost on 'MNF' against the New York Giants on October 14, 1991.

The team is hopeful of making the playoffs and getting past the wild card round, as they have lost six straight playoff games and need to snap that streak and make a deep run to make a case for Tomlin to remain in the black and gold once this season ends.
