The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the road at SoFi Stadium, tackling the Los Angeles Rams, and Aaron Rodgers and the offense have taken an early 3-0 lead.

After two drives, the Steelers have struggled to get much of anything going, and if they are to win their sixth game of the year, we imagine DK Metcalf would need to get involved.

But in the Steelers' first two drives, Metcalf doesn't have a catch and just one target, which was a home run shot from Rodgers on third down, which set up the game's first field goal.

Metcalf, who only posted six receiving yards from two receptions last week, ideally will get involved as the game goes on. But on the first two drives, he hasn't troubled the stat sheet.

Metcalf a star for Aaron Rodgers

Metcalf has had a good start to life as a Steeler, as he leads the entire team in yards (467), touchdowns (five), receptions (29), and targets (47), entering Sunday night's game.

So it makes sense for the Steelers to get No. 4 rolling at SoFi Stadium, and yes, the run game with Jaylen Warren is potent, but getting the pass game going to help soften up the Chargers' defense, which will be trying to stuff the box and make Pittsburgh one-dimensional.

It was a slow start for Metcalf and after just six yards last week, he will no doubt want Rodgers to look his way and often.

Already with one home run shot that nearly connected, we'd imagine that won't be the last.
