The Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers have all been dubbed as potential landing spots for a dynamic running back ahead of the NFL trade deadline on November 4.

With the New York Jets sitting at 0-6 on the year and Breece Hall being on the final season of his rookie deal, it would be wise for New York to move on from the young running back and get some value in return. CBS Sports' Garrett Podell believes the Chargers, Chiefs, and Steelers are the top three destinations for Hall in a trade.

New York would certainly be happy to absorb as many draft picks as it can get amid a rebuild, and the Chiefs are obviously in win-now mode. This is a deal that Kansas City should look to make.

Los Angeles needs to inquire about Hall, especially since [Omarion] Hampton is on a rookie deal. Plus, he could be a nice mentor for their first-round rookie back.

Hall could complement the speedier Jaylen Warren to beef up the Pittsburgh rushing attack. Plus, the Steelers also have an extra third-round pick for 2026 thanks to trading wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in the offseason.

Despite playing on an inept Jets offense, Hall has still found a way to be productive. The Iowa State product tallied over 1,300 scrimmage yards in 2023 and 2024 and is off to an efficient start to the 2025 campaign, rushing for 410 yards on 4.7 yards per carry while also adding 150 yards through the air.

Hall should be a prized player on the trade market, as the 24-year-old would provide an immediate boost to any offense and is still developing and getting better.

Los Angeles could look to acquire Hall with Najee Harris out for the season due to an Achilles tear, and rookie Omarion Hampton also out with an ankle injury. Pittsburgh could use some more juice to its rushing attack, and trading for Hall would take a ton of pressure off quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

However, Kansas City feels like the perfect landing spot for Hall. The 2022 second-round pick would flourish in Andy Reid's offense, and the Chiefs would maximize Hall's skillset as a runner and pass-catcher.

Kansas City is low on 2026 draft capital, but with quarterback Patrick Mahomes still playing at an elite level, the team is in win-now mode and shouldn't worry about picks. Chiefs general manager Brett Veach should call up the Jets and try to add Hall to the offense.
