Everyone wants to know why Aaron Rodgers hasn't signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers yet.

There's actually a logical reason.

Yahoo Sports reported this Monday, tucked into a breakdown of storylines to watch the rest of the offseason.

Here's what veteran scribe Frank Schwab shared:

"He has told any team involved that he wasn't making a decision right away, as he deals with an off-field issue with someone in his inner circle, and there would be no hard feelings if teams move on without him."

That feels like something that has been entirely glossed over.

Everyone is sort of assuming Rodgers is just being Rodgers.

But he could be struggling with things away from football that are slowing down his final decision and maybe even causing him to contemplate retirement.

It's worth remembering at this point that professional athletes are human and have real-world problems, too.

Maybe Rodgers is just being flaky and fickle.

But there could be plenty of other reasons for his patience, too, and the Steelers seem to be content to wait for him to be ready.
