As of June 2, veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers has still not signed with an NFL team. Rodgers also hasn't announced any decision to retire, so it is an ongoing mystery that should end at some point.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have long been viewed as the best possible landing spot for Rodgers. Moreover, the current QB room of Will Howard, Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson shows exactly why the Steelers make obvious sense for Rodgers.
But, nobody knows when - or if - it will happen. On Monday, Rodgers' former Packers teammate James Jones blamed Pittsburgh for the mishandling of this Rodgers madness during an episode of The Facility.
"But right now you gotta make sure you get Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson and Will Howard ready. That's whose been there. Whether you like it or not that's the situation you've put yourself in...To be honest with you, they're forced to do it...That is what it is. Get them 3 ready to go. It's your fault you're in this situation anyway. Gotta figure it out now, Pittsburgh."

The Steelers have been kicking the Rodgers can down the road for months, and the hope for them is that he decides to sign with the franchise. If not, well, the other options aren't terribly exciting, and the trade market is not exactly jumping off the charts with quality signal-callers.
But, as Jones said, the Steelers put themselves in this situation.
