Aaron Rodgers is set to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to reports, and will do so on a one-year contract.

Thus ends the Aaron Rodgers saga that has dragged on for far too long. Even if you're a Steelers fan that wasn't on board with bringing in the future Hall of Famer, at least it's over now and we can start moving forward.

Speaking of moving forward, Rodgers is slated to surpass a former Steelers quarterback on an all-time list this season.

Assuming he can stay healthy and start enough games, Rodgers will pass Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger on the all-time passing yards list this season. Rodgers needs 1,137 more to move into fifth place all time.

In addition to that, Rodgers needs just six passing touchdowns to surpass Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre for fourth-most in NFL history.

Seems simple enough, but Rodgers is also set to turn 42 years old, so the risk of injury is as great as it has ever been in his career. If Father Time wins in 2025, Rodgers could still fall short of one or both of those marks.

Rodgers also has a lackluster supporting cast at the moment after the team traded away George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys.

Aside from the team's No. 1 wide receiver, DK Metcalf, and its No. 1 tight end, Pat Freiermuth, there are plenty of question marks, with Roman Wilson, Calvin Austin and Robert Woods among them.

Reports have suggested the Steelers are looking around for another pass-catcher, so it stands to reason Pittsburgh will add someone before the 2025 season starts.
