Why Eagles' Jalen Hurts tush pushes on Monday Night Football vs. Packers will be extra sassy image

The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers face off on Monday Night Football to end Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season.

There'll be an extra focus on the tush push in this one.

That's because, last offseason, the Packers were the team that proposed a ban of the specialty quarterback sneak in which the QB gets some extra shoves from behind by his teammates.

The Eagles have mastered the play with Jalen Hurts and his pushing friends.

The Packers weren't the only team who wanted the play banned, but they were the ones who officially put it on the table.

The vote was close. If 24 teams had voted in favor, the ban would've passed. In the end, 22 teams voted for it.

It's not really a matter of if the Eagles will run their brotherly shove play on Monday night. It's more a matter of when.

When it happens, the Packers, like every other opponent, will have a tough time stopping it. This officiating crew, like all of them, will have a tough time officiating it.

And the Eagles, as they do, will just keep running it.

They've said the right things this week about not caring that the Packers had proposed the ban.

But you'd be naive to think the Eagles wouldn't like to use the tush push in a key spot to help win Monday night's game. While their trademark play is still around, the Eagles surely will show the Packers just how it's done.
