Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones thought he was slick talking trash to the Philadelphia Eagles as the game was set to be over.
The only problem was that quarterback Jalen Hurts had the perfect response.
Even after it was clear that the Eagles were going to close out the 20-17 win over the Chiefs on Sunday, Jones decided to fire a verbal shot at the Eagles' offense.
But Hurts then reminded him of the score and the final result in what was the best response possible from the Eagles quarterback.
"You didn't even have 100 yards," Jones said.
"We won the f***** game. Shut your ass up," Hurts replied.

Easy Jalen W.
Hurts is normally a soft-spoken guy, but clearly he'll bring the heat when necessary, and in that instance, the heat was necessary to call Jones out.
It isn't clear if Jones was talking to Hurts or Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. If he was talking to Hurts, Jones is wrong, as Hurts had 101 yards passing. Barkley, on the other hand, had 88 yards on the ground and 94 scrimmage yards in total.
Whatever the case may be, Hurts handled Jones' trash talk about as well as he could have. Jones will think twice before firing off that kind of comment when he's about to lose.
The Eagles have now beaten the Chiefs in back-to-back games after their Super Bowl victory last season. Kansas City has now lost three games in a row dating back to that contest, which is the first time that has happened in the Patrick Mahomes era.
