Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and... Terrace Marshall?

Yep, Marshall was part of a royal wide receiver triumvirate with Joe Burrow at LSU, and he was nearly as good as his two superstar teammates.

Success hasn't translated to the NFL for Marshall, who was a second-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2021. He has played 43 career games and has just 67 catches for 808 yards and one touchdown.

He's getting his latest chance this week. The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed Marshall to their practice squad.

He spent time in the summer with the Eagles, and they apparently saw enough then to bring him back into the fold now.

Marshall spent the first three seasons of his NFL career with the Panthers. In 2024, he played in seven games for the Raiders.

He has yet to appear in a game during the 2025 season.

Marshall ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day and seemed like an immense NFL prospect at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds. It just hasn't worked out so far.

In 2019's LSU national championship season, Marshall caught 46 passes for 671 yards and 13 touchdowns.

In 2020, Marshall had 48 grabs for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns in just seven games (104.4 yards per game).

The Eagles have an established top of their WR depth chart, but there's always a chance Marshall could work his way into a secondary role on gamedays if he impresses on the practice squad in the next few weeks.

If nothing else, he's an intriguing talent to get into the building.
