This week for the Philadelphia Eagles, QB2 becomes QB1.

Tanner McKee is normally the backup to Jalen Hurts. But with the Eagles resting a lot of guys for Week 18, McKee gets the start.

It's a big opportunity for McKee. He has only one more year remaining on his contract.

A big showing on film for McKee could set him up for a nice payday in a year's time.

McKee has made one regular season start in his NFL career, and in that, he went 27-for-41 for 269 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

McKee is a 6-foot-6 QB out of Stanford. He's just 25 years old.

The Eagles took McKee in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Now, he's getting a chance to show what he can do, even with a depleted pass-catching group.

The Washington Commanders aren't the most formidable defense, so McKee has a great chance to look smooth out there.

And if he does, his name will be on the minds of QB-needy teams down the road.
