The Philadelphia Eagles have struggled to put up any consistency on offense in the first half of their Week 10 matchup with the Green Bay Packers. At the time of writing, Philadelphia has just 101 yards of offense with just under five minutes to play in a scoreless game between the two NFC powers. And while the Eagles' offense is struggling, they may have a larger problem.
Right tackle Lane Johnson left the game midway through the second quarter, limping off and going to the blue medical tent. He was then shown on the ESPN broadcast being helped to the locker room with what appears to be a leg injury of some sort.
Johnson is the last player up front the Eagles can afford to lose, as they are 15-23 when Johnson doesn't play. There is a real argument that Johnson is the best right tackle of all time, which certainly leaves big shoes to fill if he were to miss any games and/or significant amount of time.
The Eagles currently have a comfortable lead in the NFC East at 6-2 while no other team in the division has more than three wins. The big lead in the division does leave some leeway, but the Eagles would also love to stay in the race for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
