Nobody is having a worse game on Saturday night than Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott.
In the first half of the Week 16 game against the Washington Commanders, Elliott missed two field goals, both wide left.
That led to the Eagles leaving six points on the field and instead of leading 13-10, the Eagles are going into the second half down 10-7.
According to Stat Muse, the most missed field goals in a game in NFL history is six, which Jim Bakken of the St. Louis Cardinals accomplished in 1966.
Since the merger, eight other kickers have missed five in a game.
We don't think the Eagles would let Elliott kick that many field goals after what we've seen out of him thus far, but never say never.
Elliott has been struggling badly of late. The veteran kicker has now missed five field goals in his last five games.
That's a pretty big concern as the Eagles prepare to play in the postseason in a few weeks, assuming they don't choke away their division lead.
